During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Egypt showcased varied performance metrics. Here’s a breakdown of their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Google Earth saw a steady trend in weekly downloads, which started at around 15K at the beginning of October and experienced a slight dip mid-quarter, only to peak again at approximately 19K in the last week of November. Active users hovered around 55K at the start of the quarter, dipped slightly mid-quarter, and ended the year at roughly 54K.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation from AppStar Studios witnessed a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 10.8K in early October before experiencing a gradual decline, ending December with approximately 6.8K downloads. Active users mirrored this trend, starting the quarter at about 18.5K and peaking at around 30.4K in mid-October, before declining to approximately 20.4K by the end of December. Weekly revenue remained relatively stable, hovering around $4-$5.
